On Friday 20 March 2020, the parliament portfolio committee on health and child care paid a visit to Ingutsheni Central Hospital. The committee led by the chairperson Dr Ruth Labode, was on a fact finding mission on the state of affairs at the institution.
Issues discussed included staffing, patient care, staff needs as well as the preparedness of the institution to deal with global corona virus pandemic.
