On the 29th of October 2019 a charitable organisation called the Ingutsheni Appeal Initiative visited Ingutsheni Central Hospital and handed over a donation of 130 blankets. 102 of these blankets were bought by the charitable organisation while the hospital paid for 28 blankets.
The Ingutsheni Appeal Initiave team was represented by the co-founder Miss Tholakele Khumalo, and fellow committee members. Receiving the donation on behalf of Ingutsheni Central Hospital was Clinical Director W Ranga, the Principal Nursing Officer Miss E Kabwemba, PRO Miss V Chimbindi, members of the hospital management team and staff from various wards and departments.

Ingutsheni Clinical Director Dr W Ranga, on behalf of the hospital expressed his gratitude for the kind gesture from the Ingutsheni Appeal committee. He applauded them for the commendable initiative of donating towards such a worthy cause.
The Ingutsheni Appeal Initative team expressed their desire to continue working with Ingutsheni Central Hospital into the foreseeable future on matters relating to the improvement of patients welfare.
The Ingutsheni Appeal Initative team were then taken for a tour around some of the wards within the Institution. There they received input on patient care and gained an appreciation of the patients` environment.
